^ Those benchmarks are very outdated though. AMD GCN has proven to age much better than Nvidia Kepler in 2016 and the R9 280X pretty much seems to beat the GTX 770 in most titles present.

Benchmarks for 2013 will exist an awful respresentation for AMD'southward old drivers.

Hither is a video of the gtx 770 benchmarked in 2016 with new drivers, they take the 380x too in a few benches I would say the 280x perfoms nearly 5-10% worse than the 380x. Its difficult to say because in that location are very few modern benchmarks with those gpu's.

Oh, haven't idea almost it, i only took the tests and looked at comparisons, didn't come across the date.

And yep, the 770 was alee iii years ago and people say that the 280x is now the improve performer:

You lot should search for updated criterion results also, really in newer games the 280X tin outperform the GTX770.

Are you because getting some old hw (from friends or family) as an upgrade? If not, I would recommend getting newer gen graphics card, either from NVIDIA or AMD. 770 is Kepler, 280X is outset gen GCN, these are 4-v twelvemonth old gpus.
